The job boards in this section are ones that Berkeley Career Engagement subscribes to. Some of them may require a login so please ensure that you use your berkeley.edu sign on otherwise you may be asked to pay a fee to enter. 

  • Handshake – Your gateway to online Berkeley Career Engagement services, exclusively for Cal students and alumni. Handshake grants one-stop access to hundreds of jobs and internships, On-Campus Recruiting (OCR), and other essential employment and internship resources.
  • GoinGlobal – GoinGlobal’s job search database features more than 16 million employment listings around the globe updated on a daily basis. Job searches can be expanded to include listings posted in the local language, in addition to English.
  • Indeed Job Search Academy – The Indeed Job Search Academy is a virtual career development program created to help you excel in your job search. The Academy focuses on mastering the 5 key areas so you feel confident during every step of the job search process. Indeed also offers on-demand workshops or you can join their live webinars to learn everything you need to know to help you get the role that is right for you.
  • Berkeley SkyDeck – A partnership between UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, College of Engineering, and the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Research to create a space where all the benefits of a traditional accelerator are combined with the resources of the world’s number one ranked public university. This job board is focused on startups and is heavy on internships, but can still be a great resource. 
  • NACE Career Center – The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) is a professional association connecting over 17,000 college career service professionals, early talent recruiting, and university relations professionals. They created a central hub with job postings, career planning resources, and data insights.

  • HASTAC (“haystack”) – This site is a network of humanists, artists, social scientists and engineers committed to new forms of collaborations across disciplines fostered by creative uses of technology.
  • Opportunity Knocks – This comprehensive site focuses specifically on the nonprofit world.
  • Social Work Careers – Whether you are looking to start a career in a human services field or advance your social work education to take on more responsibility, there is a lot of opportunity in this field for you to impact your career with a social work degree. 

Mathematics and Sciences

  • American Statistical Association – Job listings in research, government, and industry settings that typically require an advanced degree in Math and/or Statistics.
  • BioSpace.com – An industry based resources that offers a job board and sponsors career fairs in the Bay Area and other locales.
  • ScienceCareers.org – A comprehensive website for PhDs in mathematics, engineering and science that offers a job board and career editorials.
  • Thinking of a Career in Applied Mathematics? – A career exploration resource courtesy of The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics.
