Connect with Berkeley Career Engagement Health Careers Counselors in a variety of ways:

30-Minute Counseling Appointments

  • Open to currently registered sophomores, juniors, seniors and eligible alumni. 
  • First years will have access for 1:1 appointments, after October 1, 2025.
  • Receive in-depth assistance from Health Careers Counseling regarding exploring, preparing for, and/or applying to health professional programs.
  • Available either in-person, on video, or by phone
  • Sign up online only (via Handshake) — If you do not see an appointment, check back! Additional appointments are released each week.

Drop-in appointments (September 4 – October 2, 2025)

Thursdays: 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.

If you would like to receive a weekly email about pre-health opportunities, events, and more, please sign up for the Health and Medicine (Health Careers) CareerMail through your Handshake profile. It takes under a minute, just a few short steps:

  1. Sign in to Handshake.
  2. Locate “Career Interests” under your name in the top right corner.
  3. In response to the fourth question, check the box for “Health and Medicine” in the list of CareerMail categories.
  4. Click “Save My Career Interests” and you’re done!
