How did you get here?
I was a stay-home mom then a homeschooling mom for 14 years. Now that my sons have moved on with their fruitful lives, it is time for me to get back into the workforce. There is no better place for me than to return to my alma mater and where I had been a student, a Cal mom, and now a Cal employee. Go Bears!
Who do you work with? What’s cool about your job?
I work with employers, students, alumni, and grad school recruiters providing administrative and programmatic support to the on-campus interviewing services and event and job posting services. It is rewarding to give back to the school where my collegiate training started and to support students and alumni in the next phase of their journey.
What’s the best career advice anyone has given you?
Keep an open mind and be willing to try something outside of your comfort zone.

Walking, looking for ways to save money and maximize resources.
