How did you get here?
I finally returned to the Bay Area (where I was born and raised) almost 3 years ago to take a job as an academic advisor in the Integrative Biology department on-campus. Before that, I worked in pre-health advising at UC San Diego where I discovered my passion for helping students prepare and apply for health professional schools.

What's cool about your job?
The great students I get to meet and build relationships with. The fact that I can serve as a support system to students when they are going through a potentially stressful time in their lives, is pretty great too. Also, the energy of campus!

What's the best career advice anyone has given you?
Don’t burn your bridges. Be nice to everyone you meet and appreciate each opportunity you are given, no matter how big or small.

Traveling, Arizona Wildcats Basketball (but I do love Cal athletics!), road trips, iced lattes, reading a good book, hot yoga and spending time with friends and family.
