B.A., Fine Art
Santa Clara University
How did you get here?
I’m a Bay Area native who came to the Career Center from the nonprofit world, where I was fortunate to gain great experience in directing events, corporate partnerships, programs, and communications. I’ve worked in the arts regionally in Northern California and in the health sector on a national scale. There’s something in me that strives to make meaningful impact, combined with a drive to serve. I feel really lucky to have been able to make positive differences in the lives of students, artists, educators, and patients in past work – and am excited to be part of the UC Berkeley community serving exceptional students and employers!
What's cool about your job?
It’s inspiring to support students in their next big life step: starting meaningful careers. I enjoy working with people who have varied life and career experience, and creating win-win partnerships. Lastly, I find the passion and dedication amongst UC Berkeley personnel to be contagious.
What's the best career advice anyone has given you?
Every person and every job are important.
Also: stay flexible and enjoy where you are on the road.
I love using my passport (the more exotic the destination, the better!), creating art, meditating, reading, hiking, and spending time with my wonderful family and friends.
