How did you get here?
Prior to joining the Career Center, I managed the UC Berkeley’s Public Service Center’s Public Service Internship program, including Cal in Local Government, Cal in the Capital, Magnolia Project, Berkeley Arts Connect and Oakland Community Builders. I came to Berkeley from San Jose State University’s Career Center where I led collaborative experiential education initiatives with campus and employer partners spanning across public, private and non-profit sectors. Prior to San Jose State I managed and developed regional non-federal internship programs including an Environmental Health and Justice Fellows Program for The Environmental Careers Organization, facilitated workshops for INROADS as an alum, and did recruitment for a law firm and consulting firm.

What's cool about your job?
I enjoy and know the value of building relationships with partners across campus and off campus. I am passionate about creating opportunities for students to gain clarity about their future careers by shadowing alumni through our externship program and our informal engagement activities that can lead to internships.

What's the best career advice anyone has given you?
Know your worth. Have a purpose and be clear about why you are here.

Interests/Hobbies
Travel, cooking, art, spending time with family and friends.
