The Cal Career Center offers an array of employer services designed to facilitate your access to Cal ’s top quality students and academic programs. We can recommend strategic approaches to UC Berkeley that can help you gain visibility on campus and meet your short-term and/or long-term hiring goals. Whether you want to hire a student for an immediate opening or to fill multiple positions with future graduates, the Career Center can help you find a service solution to meet your needs.

Through use of our web-based services and resources, participation in our career fairs and other events, and targeted campus outreach, you can develop a customized approach to UC Berkeley that will successfully support you in your college relations and recruiting efforts.

First, it’s important to get to know the UC Berkeley campus – renowned for its outstanding academic departments, distinguished faculty, and bright, talented students and alumni.

• Preview Information about Cal for a detailed overview of key academic and campus resources.
• We can also provide you with meaningful information about our students from their admission as freshmen or transfer students to their employment choices and salaries.

Second, identify your hiring timeline, position requirements, and resources available.

• For just-in-time needs, consider CalJobs, our online job listing service, as a year-round resource. Also check the Career Fair calendar for upcoming events that may fit into your timeline and budget.
• For more projected needs and/or to gain maximum campus visibility, attend the Career Fairs regularly and/or participate in On-Campus Recruiting (OCR).

Third, for even more exposure on campus, expand your campus activities to include other Career Center events and conduct outreach to targeted student organizations or departments.
