Postdocs

Postdocs are now eligible for all Career Center Services offered to registered Cal students including access to the CalJobs job listings, the Letter Service, counseling, workshops, career fairs, and other employer events.

Many of our online services and resources require you to log in. As a postdoc, you will use the Alumni Login (found on the right) using a Career Center ID rather than the Student CalNet Login option (found on the left side of our login screens). To register and receive your Career Center ID, the procedure is as follows:

For access to Career Center Services except the Letter Service:

• Print out the Degree Verification Form (PDF).
• Fill out the top portion and bring it to the Career Center along with your Postdoc ID Card.

If you also want to establish a Letter Service account, in addition to the above, you must:

• Read the Policies and Procedures of the Letter Service.
• Follow the directions on the Alternate Letter Service Student Registration form.
• Mail or deliver the form to the Career Center, along with a payment of $20 (the same fee students pay).

Once you have been activated (1-2 business days), you will have access to all Career Center Services that are available to registered students, and if there is a fee (e.g., sending Letter Service files) you pay at the same rate as regular students.
