2008-2009 Peer Advisors! - View PDF flyer"Why Being a Peer Advisor is the Best Job on Campus!" The Peer Advisor Program - 2007-2008Who are the Peer Advisors? We are the student ambassadors to the Career Center. We help students achieve peace of mind by demystifying the LSAT, fine-tuning a summer job resume, or reassuring the over-achiever in us all. At the end of the day, a triumph for a fellow student is a success for the Peer Advisor that told him, "Don’t worry, your experience in retail is just what the consulting firm needs." We are full-time undergraduate students trained by Career Center counselors on proper resume/CV/cover letter writing, interviewing, and the inevitable job/internship search. In addition, we know the ins and outs of the graduate/professional school application process. Equipped to solve academic and professional conundrums, we offer one-of-a-kind advice because as student leaders, we utilize the very services that we promote. Our dynamic team consists of: How Do I Meet the Peers?(Available during the academic year only).
How to Find the Career CenterThe Career Center is located at 2111 Bancroft Way, between Fulton and Shattuck. You can take the Perimeter Campus Shuttle to Bancroft and Shattuck (Kinko's is on the corner), and walk back towards campus one-half block. We'll be in the InfoLab which is on the 2nd Floor.
