CareerMail - Frequently Asked QuestionsHow were the categories determined? The categories represent broad career interest areas designed to generate substantial student interest. Please contact us if there's one you'd like us to add. If there is sufficient interest we will consider expanding the list. Who will be sending me email messages? You will receive messages from Career Center counselors who have expertise in the particular fields. The lists are kept confidential and are for Career Center use only -- your name will not be given out to anyone else. What if I change my mind and don't want to be on a mailing list any longer? You can unsubscribe from any list at any time. Login just as you did to subscribe. You'll then see a screen where you can update or delete your subscription. I subscribed to CareerMail but I'm not getting any CareerMail messages. Why? It's possible that your subscription had to be deleted. This happens if your email address was typed incorrectly when you subscribed, or your email service is not configured correctly, or your mailbox is full. If you think this may be the case, log back into the system and re-subscribe. Another possible reason is if your email account has spam blockers. In this case, you will need to configure your account to receive email from "UCB CareerMail". |
