Letter Service - How to Open a File

If you are opening a new file using a credit card that does not belong to you, make sure your account information is updated on the "Registration Form" that will appear after the payment is processed.

 

Files can be established online, but you must first read the policies and procedures. It is important that you establish a file before you begin asking individuals for letters of recommendation.

On the Letter Service home page, select "Open a New File." Students will be directed through the process and Alumni will be instructed to first purchase Alumni Advantage and then directed through the new file process.

This will allow you to set up a new file in three easy steps:

  1. Pay the necessary fee.
  2. Acknowledge the Letter Service Policy Agreement.
  3. Complete and submit the online registration form.
