Professional or Graduate School Statement Review

Use this service to get feedback on your statement for professional or graduate school. Before submitting your statement, please read the following guidelines:

1. You may submit ONLY ONE statement for review in a given year.
2. After you submit your statement for review, a career counselor will respond to you within five business days (M-F).
3. Feedback will focus on content ONLY (no grammatical mistakes will be corrected) and at no time will statements be reviewed in person (includes 15 min. Mini and 45 minute appointments).
4. Your statement cannot exceed 5 pages (double-space, 12 point font and no more than 9,400 characters - including spaces) otherwise, it will be cut-off and the over-limit portion will not be reviewed.
5. Your statement may either be copied and pasted from a word processing program or typed directly into the "Statement Text" box.
6. You MUST include statement instructions from the program to which you plan to apply. If the instructions are not included, your statement will be returned immediately without a review.
7. Your statement should be in final draft form upon submission. It is strongly recommended that before submitting your statement you either review Law School Personal Statement or Graduate School Statement or attend a statement writing workshop (during academic year).
