Services for College of Engineering students & alumni include:

Individual appointments with career counselors to discuss your career plans, job hunting strategies, resume writing and interviewing. Experienced career counselors can provide general career assistance in individual sessions. In addition, we have counselors who specialize in advising students from the College of Engineering.
CalJobs, a robust job listing service specifically targeted to Cal students for internship and career positions.
Specialized Career Fairs for engineering students include the EECS Fair, CEE Fair, Biotech & Bioengineering Fair for both career positions and internships. Also, many engineering recruiters attend major fairs, the Cal Career Fair, Diversity Career Fair, and Internship & Summer Job Fair. Because they recruit for projected openings, begin participating in fairs early Fall semester.
Resume & Letter Writing resources that range from an online interactive resume builder – Cal Resume Wizard - to individual critiques of your resume.
Job Search Tools include:
- Information on how to research, find and get jobs
- WetFeet, Vault and GoingGlobal employer and industry guides – assessable through CalJobs
- Online articles covering resume writing, internships, and interviewing including how to respond to technical questions
Graduate & Professional School information with information about the application process and the Letter Service to house letters of recommendation for graduate school.
Planning Your Future resources such as include assessment tools, occupational information and access to a database of alumni to talk with for advice and information about various career options.
Online and print resources specific to Engineering including information about engineering careers and directories of organizations that hire engineers.
