The Career Center at the University of California Berkeley conducts an
annual survey of the initial postgraduate activities of its baccalaureate graduates. All 6581 degree
recipients graduating in December 2003, May 2004 and August 2004 were surveyed, starting with our web-based
survey in fall 2003. Those who did not respond, or whose post-graduate plans were uncertain, were mailed
questionnaires in December 2004. The overall response rate for the campus was 38.2% (2516 students). This
report presents highlights of the endeavors undertaken by students in each undergraduate school and college.
